The FANT-H provides the following features:

• hosts a 3.2Tbps Ethernet switch; however, only 2.6Tbps is effectively used

• can be used in a 7360 ISAM FX shelf

• performs all management and alarm handling functions for the ISAM shelf and all the client devices mounted in the shelf or connected to the shelf, and supports the management and control interfaces required for this task

• two QSFP cages, each of which can accommodate QSFP+ modules (40G and 4x10G) and QSFP28 modules (100G) • two SFP cages, each of which can accommodate SFP or SFP+ modules (1G or 10G)

• has one 10/100/1000Base-T interface • supports NT I/O

• supports 8 GB Compact Flash • supports synchronized Ethernet (SyncE), but not when operating in GE mode

• does not support auto negotiation when operating in GE mode

• supports synchronous Ethernet link data clock extraction from any two of the following ports as Network Timing Reference (NTR) source:

• from a front port interface served from a QSFP cage

• from the interfaces on the NTIO

• supports precision time protocol (PTP) IEEE 1588v2

• supports 1 pulse-per-second (PPS)/Time of Day (ToD) interface

• supports one 10 MHz GPS interface

• can be used in the following operational conditions:

• 5C to 40C (41F to 104F) for normal operating range, or

• -5C to 50C (23F to 122F) in a Central Office (CO) environment

• is hot-swappable • consists of components which are compliant to the regulations of Reduction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)

• is compliant with ANSI standards UL62368, CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 60950-1-07, GR-63, GR-1089 and GR-3108 provided that the board is installed, maintained, and used in accordance with applicable installation instructions
